The NexBlue Point 2 is a smart, future-ready home EV charger designed for safe, simple and efficient everyday charging. With up to 7.4kW single-phase charging, a neat, Type 2 socket design concealed with a flap and app-controlled smart features, it gives EV drivers more control over when and how they charge at home.

Using the intuitive myNexBlue mobile app, you can monitor your charging status and data, and schedule your car to charge at a time that suits you. The NexBlue Point 2 charger offers off-peak charging capabilities through EcoPilot Mode, including intelligent tariff integration with Octopus and OVO.

Though the NexBlue Point 2 charging unit is untethered, it features a built-in mechanical cable lock so you can secure your cable to the charger whilst the car’s being charged to avoid theft. If you prefer, you can choose to have the cable locked and tethered long-term to avoid having to reconnect it each time.

The charger includes dynamic load balancing to help manage household power demand, while integrated PEN fault protection supports a safer and cleaner installation. It is also compatible with solar surplus charging when used with the right NexBlue equipment, making it a strong option for homeowners looking to reduce charging costs and make better use of renewable energy via their solar photovoltaic system.

The NexBlue Point 2 stays effortlessly updated via over-the-air firmware updates via wifi, 4g eSim and Bluetooth connectivity. The charger also supports OCPP and is compatible with RFID and mobile NFC, which makes it a fantastic choice for apartment block, fleet or workplace car parks.
